Hakika Sezgin completed her bachelor’s degree in architecture (2007) and  her master’s degree (2010) at İstanbul Technical University. She has been involved in design, application and construction site processes of many architectural projects in the professional field. Based on the knowledge she has gained in academic and professional fields, she has evaluated each project within its own performance and requirements, and has aimed to produce innovative architectural solutions in line with these principles. She has provided acoustic consultancy on building element and detail design for sound insulation in buildings, acoustic performance evaluation and room acoustic. Hakika Sezgin worked as a part time lecturer at İstanbul Bilgi University, Faculty of Architecture. (2016-2021). She takes part as an instructor in Certification of Fundamental Building Acoustic (D1) by Turkish Acoustical Society and also provides education coordination support. She has been in the management board of the Turkish Acoustical Society since 2022. She has been working as a lecturer at Kadir Has University since September 2021.

Dilara Kelle

Interior Architect, MSc |  Acoustical Consultant

Dilara Kelle completed her interior architecture (2007) and master's (2014) education at Istanbul Technical University and continues her doctoral studies at the same university. She has adopted a functional and pragmatic approach that focuses on user comfort and needs in the projects she involves in. Believing that a good product can only be obtained as a result of a design process that progresses with a mathematical and parametric basis in which environmental factors are optimized, she continues her professional and academic studies in this context. Along with her design studies, she provides acoustic consultancy on building element design and detail solution, acoustic performance evaluation and room acoustics. Within the scope of her doctoral work, she focuses on parameterization and optimization in surface design with the support of various simulation programs. She has been working as a part-time lecturer at Istanbul Bilgi University since 2016.

Ayça Şentop Dümen, Dr.

Architect, PhD | Acoustical Consultant

Ayça Şentop Dümen has received her bachelor's degree in architecture (2010), master's degree (2013) and doctorate degree (2020) from Istanbul Technical University. Her research interests are building element and detail optimization to achieve sound insulation, acoustical performance evaluation of buildings, noise calculations and acoustical measurements. Stemming from her background in architecture and academical & professional experiences, she always prioritises applicability and building performance, and intends to develop acoustical solutions in harmony with the architectural design decisions in her works. She also participated in several activities including organisation of acoustical events, conducting workshops and seminars, making publications, in order to promote her field and to raise conciousness in the sector. She worked as a researcher in the project for preparation of the Regulation against Protection of Buildings against Noise and the application guideline. She is an educator in D1 Building Acoustics Certificate Program (offeed by Turkish Acoustical Society) and supports coordination of the educational program. She has been working in Istanbul Bilgi University since 2013 and she has been in the management board of the Turkish Acoustical Society since 2018.
